My Secret Square

Erik mailed me a link to a site showing pictures of the disastrous winter of flooding and snow that happened to Mallorca, his chosen island.
One of the pictures was this, and I thought:
I love this. This is my secret little square. This is what I want to see one early morning in summer when they get ready for breakfast,
and at night, with the trees verdant and the little shop open for late night purchases.
This is my plazita.
I don't really know where on Mallorca this is, and I may never find out, but to look at the picture and to dream
that makes it just as real to me.

I am pretty sure this is in Soller, the little town in the mountains where the best oranges from the island grow...
check google "images" with "soller" then you can see much of the village, and the attached port soller (where the ships laden with oreanges used to sail directly to marseille or itlay, for that reason the art and antiques have a strong frnch and italian influence as opposed to the rest of the iland, soller was only accessable by sea, or a VERY steep, curve rocky road through the mountains earlier. now there is a tunnel.
